Day 1: Sergiev Posad – Pereslavl – Rostov
Stop At: The Holy Trinity-St. Sergius Lavra, Sergiev Posad mkr, Sergiyev Posad 141300 Russia
The biggest monastery and religious center of Russia. Admission for foreign citizens costs 700 rub per person and is not included!
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
Stop At: Pereslavl-Zalessky, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Yaroslavl Oblast, Central Russia
An ancient lakeside town with a few important attractions: Goritsky Monastery (now a museum) and a 12-th century Transfiguration Cathedral. Admission (grounds and belfry) is 150 roubles per person and is not included. Museum exhibitions are paid separately.

Stop At: Rostov, Rostov, Yaroslavl Oblast, Central Russia
Another ancient town on the shores of Lake Nero with a marvelous archbishop’s residence known as the Rostov Kremlin. Admission (grounds) is 70 roubles (not included). We’ll also visit St. Jacob’s monastery where you can get to the observation deck and have a nice view of the lake.

Day 2: Suzdal – Vladimir

The gem of the Golden Ring. Tickets to major attractions cost around 400 roubles each (Suzdal Kremlin, Saviour Monastery of St. Euthymius, Museum of Wooden Architecture).

One of the ancient centers of Old Rus which has got two medieval cathedrals and some other important sites in the vicinity. Admission to each cathedral is 150 roubles (not included).

A small town with a nice monastery and an ancient cathedral.
