Tretyakov gallery is the best collection of Russian Art of the 18-19 th centuries, collected by a merchant Pavel Tretyakov. He bought all paintings and housed in his private mansion. In the late 19th century, he donated his collection to Moscow. And since then, it became all Russian heritage and pride.
