Moscow Region War Tour. A unique chance to see off the beaten track destinations in Moscow region, mainly connected with the 1941-1945 war. On this tour we may visit the New Jerusalem monastery which became a Nazi stronghold in the autumn of 1941, a museum in Snegiri which has got a lot of stuff (including a Tiger, in a poor condition though), two war memorials dedicated to the heroes of WWII in the vicinity of Volokolamsk and a small but picturesque Kremlin in Volokolamsk itself. On our way back there will be a great museum of equipment (Vadim Zadorozhny’s Museum) which has a huge collection of military hardware as well as Western/Soviet vintage cars and motorbikes. The famous Arkhangelskoe estate is just around the corner.
Borodino Battlefield and Kubinka Tank Museum are also an option!
