Kolomna is an ancient and beautiful city of Russia, located in 120 km from Moscow. It is placed on two big rivers: the Moskva and the Oka. Kolomna was founded in 1177 and like all ancient Russian cities, Kolomna has a Kremlin, which is built from red bricks and is similar to the famous Moscow Kremlin. The most famous citadel of the Kremlin is Marinkin’s citadel, where Marina Mnishek was taken into custody.

The main and oldest landmark of Bronnitsy is the Cathedral of the Archangel, standing in the heart of the city. To the north of the Archangel Cathedral there is a church of Mother of God built in the late XIX century.
