There are not so many exhibits in the Wax Museum, but they make an unforgettable impression. Here you can see everything – from life-size figures of political figures to the characters of modern popular cartoons. The museum exposition is divided into 4 rooms.
At the entrance, visitors are greeted by the characters of the cartoon «Shrek» and the film «Avatar». The first room is dedicated to fairy-tale characters and heroes of famous cartoons. Here you can see, for example, Dobby from «Harry Potter», Pinocchio and Karabas, Aladdin and the heroes of the «Ice Age», as well as many others.
The second room contains a collection of figures of individuals who have left their mark on history. Here you can see wax sculptures of famous politicians, representatives of the sphere of culture and art, kings and queens. The collection has already managed to get the figures of V. Putin and D. Medvedev.
The third hall of the museum can be called the most unusual. Here are collected unique exhibits of heroes from science fiction films, such as Star Wars, The Lord of the Rings, The Matrix, mythical creatures such as harpies, as well as the highlight of the collection – figures of people with various physical anomalies (Kunstkamera). You can see the figure of the two-faced Janus – Edward Mordakke, who lived in Germany in the 19th century. At the back of his head he had the likeness of a second person. Studying music and demonstrating it during his performances, Mordacca made good money. Among the exhibits of the Kunstkamera are three-legged people, a mule woman, a two-headed shooter, three-eyed and four-eyed people, a pig woman, a cancer man and a man with a horn, etc. Visiting the Kunstkamera of the Wax Museum is not for the faint of heart. However, it guarantees a vivid experience.
Wax figures attract with their naturalness, similarity with real prototypes. Due to this, they have a special effect on the audience. To appear here is as if to be among living historical figures and movie heroes and cartoons who came down from the screens.
But besides looking at the wax figures in the museum, you can also take pictures with them. This is a unique opportunity to get a photo with Master Yoda or a person with a parasitic head, or with Vladimir Putin, Lenin or Peter I.
