A unique monastic ensemble of Russian Orthodoxy from the 15th to the 19th centuries. It’s the most important functioning monastery in Russia. UNESCO declared it a World Heritage Site. The Monastery was founded in 1345 by St. Sergius of Radonezh and contains his relics. During the excursion you will have a chance to learn about the history of the monastery, pecularities of monks’ life, to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and beauty of monastery architecture.

Ethnopark of Nomads:
In the ethnopark you will learn about the life of Russian nomad folks and visit their homes (yurta, chum, yaranga). You will listen to the music of nomad instruments (jew’s harp, timbrel) and sound reproduction of wild animals. There is a zoo complex on the territory of the ethno park. You can see here camels, yaks, donkeys, sheep, goats. In winter period you will be offered a ride in a sledge pulled by husky dogs and reindeer.
