Stop At: Kremlin Walls and Towers, Red Square, Moscow 613310 Russia

The oldest part of the city and a witness to Russia’s turbulent history, the Kremlin has changed its appearance and role throughout the years. I’m a licensed Kremlin guide, and will explain how its has developed since the middle of the 12th century. You’ll learn how a medieval settlement on the left bank of the Moskva River became the capital of Russia.

Stop At: Arsenal Building, ul. Kreml, Moscow 101000 Russia

We’ll talk about the Kremlin in the 20th century. I’ll explain what role the fortress played during the October Revolution and how it changed after 1917. I’ll show you where V. Lenin, J. Stalin and other Soviet leader lived and worked. Of course, I’ll show you the official residence of the Russian president.

Stop At: Tsar Bell and Tsar Cannon, ul. Kreml, Moscow 101000 Russia

We’ll see two most curious monuments in the Kremlin, the Tsar Cannon and the Tsar Bell. You’ll learn when, how and why they were created. I’ll bring to your attention some interesting details which are not mentioned in guide books.

The main square in the Kremlin and the oldest one in the city. Here you’ll learn how and where the tzars lived, crowned, ruled and were buried. I’ll talk about Russia in the Middle Ages – habits, traditions and lifestyle.
We’ll explore the Assumption Cathedral built in the late 15th century as the main church in the country. Also, we’ll visit the largest royal necropolis in Russia and talk about Ivan the Terrible and his legacy as well as the first rulers of the Romanov family.

Stop At: Patriarchal Chambers, Dvortsovaya, 1L, Moscow 103073 Russia

Here we’ll speak about the Russian Orthodox Church, its role and leaders. We’ll visit the patriarchs’ residence from the 17th century which preserved its look and vibe.

Stop At: Taynitsky Garden of Moscow Kremlin, Ivanovskaya Sq., Moscow Russia

We’ll finish the tour in one of my favorite gardens in Moscow with a wonderful panorama of the city and the Moskva River. Here you could relax, take a seat and have an ice cream or a cup of coffee. Also, you could explore the Kremlin by yourself until it closes. Another option would be to go to Red Square.
